How does it work
Note: This article and all numbers and math contained is from May 2022. It will be moved to the public archive soon and being replaced by a new page.
The foundation
Our mint situation and timeframe was chosen preciously. We pulled the trigger exactly when DCF hit a lower floor of round about 100 SOL. We think, this was because of a weak streak on DCF volume, mostly due to SOL network congestions and other issues. Given the fact we do believe in DCF anyway, this was just the perfect opportunity to go for our initial foundation, by doing the mint, and by investing those funds into DCF NFTs.
The goals
We initially stated, that our goal is to own 49.9% of DCF, one day. This would equal 277 DCF NFTs with a current market cap of round about 33,655 SOL or 3,365,500 USD, at the time of writing. If DCF continues with the 7d average per day and DCF NFTs hold the floor and the current level, we would need round about 25 years to reach that goal (all math based on current market values at the time of writing).
After reaching our goal, the daily mDCF rev share would equal (277*DCF rev share/1110), which is ~ 25% of one DCF NFT rev share, and equals to a ROI of 27 days, given the current mDCF floor price (again: at the time of writing).
While it is just a theoretical assumption, that we will ever be able to reach that goal, this would mean our holders would not get any rev share payouts for round about 25 years. One might like to complain. So - nah, we won't do this.
This is now where royalties come into our plan. You might want to call our exhausting royalties of 20% a bitch tax - in fact, it is not. Let's just call this a fee, to realize your wins (because you should not sell with a loss). And of course, this is only to the favor of all mDCF holders:
75% of the royalties are reserved for buying more DCF NFTs, only, and forever
25% of the royalties are going to the operator, also paying project expenses from that
If we do count in the current mileage of royalties generated only for buying more DCF NFTs, the maths again lead to a timeframe of round about 25 years to acquire the missing 265 DCF NFTs (based on the daily average of our track record yet and the current market values at the time of writing).
Basically this means, if we do invest 50% of our DCF rev share and 50% of our royalties, based on current numbers, we need 25 years to overtake 49.9% of the DCF ownership. And if we do invest 100% of both, we only need round about 12.5 years for this.
And now... what if I tell you now, that we will have (and already have) even more opportunities, to earn more SOL, to buy more DCF NFTs even sooner?
No financial advice. Do your own research.
We can tell you the goal, can show you the math, but we can't tell you the future.
The community
The mDCF community is a community of holders that own at least one mDCF NFT, that do support their investment in mDCF by supporting the mDCF projects initial goal. But, as we would be nothing without winning our bet on DCF, our highest priority and main goal is and always will be to support DCF in every way we can, all the time.
The communities headquarter is located in the Discord hosted by nftrix.net, see Official Links.
Further investments
Investments we are going for (DCF NFTs only for now), need to pass our requirements in any case, including all additional costs, like an interest to be paid for a loan.
Are required to have the same or better ROI than our initial investments.
Are required to support or to leverage our bet on DCF.
Making money short, mid and long term
Given our foundation, our goal and our principles, we might assume an increasing inner value of mDCF NFTs, most probably already on a short or mid term perspective. While we are currently trying to accumulate more DCF NFTs quick, and while we are building more opportunities of income for the mDCF project, we do frequently think about the question how to bring back the payouts, also. It's safe to say that they will be back - and it's just a matter of time and the increase of our value, to get there.
